Are you overwhelmed by the content of the PMBOK that sorting through over 500 pages of text is not the most efficient means of making progress in your PMP pursuit? Yes, highlighting and placing post-it tabs on specific pages is a practical method to set reminders, but are there better methods to absorb this dense information? I mean who wants to read the PMBOK in its entirety more than once?
After taking the PMP boot camp and making the decision to pursue the certification, I really didn’t have a study game plan. To read the PMBOK or not to? After exclusively focusing on practice exams for a couple of months and underperforming by a large margin to put it nicely, I came to grips that I need to go back to the basics. What does that mean? Well, I swallowed my pride and took a month to read, digest, and absorb the PMBOK material. Did my practice exam scores significantly improve afterwards? Not as much as one would hope, but I did layout my plan of attack as I would for any significant endeavor.
This site’s purpose is to provide you all the necessary resources for you to be successful in your PMP pursuit. Since this site is in its inception, I’ll continue to roll out new information which is not readily available anywhere else.
